A-chuckling and a-giggling
So certain they would win
Spotted hyenas lolloped in
An evil conspiratorial ring
Loping in and slinking out
The jungle did a turnabout
This side now and then that
Pitter-pat pitter-pat
Tit for tat
They spat
All bones for one
Till none for none
All done
All gone
Not one
Has won
Each wipes from his face
Shame and disgrace.
The cup of the wicked is bitter as gall,
Their evil pouring back over them as they fall!
But the cup of salvation for the righteous is pure and sweet:
Overflowing with blessings and peace from Hashem, a delicious treat.
