Curating my own work is a fearsome task – my creative process is so arbitrary – a request, a suggestion, sets me doing studies which are not part of my inner feelings or ideas, but suddenly seem to take a surge or a dive into something that interests me….and fades….then a bit of manipulation starts me on another exploration, which may branch out into something totally unexpected – and I jump back and forth and outwards – some things seem to work, others to fail – but when I go back after a time to the failures, and rearrange, manipulate, combine – suddenly exciting things emerge – and lead me to make new combinations – sometimes a detail catches my attention and leads to a whole new series of explorations.
